Our client is an established European infrastructure investor focused on mid-market opportunities across the energy transition and wider sustainable infrastructure. Backed by institutional capital and with a strong track record, the business is growing and expanding its investment activity across Europe.
The firm is now looking to hire a Senior Associate into its lean Paris investment team. The role offers broad exposure across the full investment lifecycle, from origination and execution through to portfolio management.
What the role involves
- Leading key workstreams on live transactions, including financial modelling, valuation and commercial analysis
- Coordinating due diligence with external advisers
- Assessing investment opportunities and identifying key risks and value creation levers
- Drafting Investment Committee materials
- Supporting negotiations and transaction documentation
- Supporting portfolio monitoring and value creation initiatives
- Contributing to origination through market research and network building
Candidate Profile
- 2-6 years' experience in investment banking or M&A advisory, ideally with an infrastructure or energy focus
- Buy-side and sell-side M&A deal experience
- Excellent financial modelling skills, with the ability to build models from scratch
- Outstanding academic background
- Commercially sharp, with clear and concise communication
- Collaborative, low-ego team player who thrives in a lean, entrepreneurial environment
