Resident Engineer – Electrical | Data Centres & Mission Critical Location: Paris, France Type: Permanent Working Arrangement: Site-Based Our client is a leading international engineering consultancy specialising in Data Centres and Mission Critical infrastructure. Due to continued growth, they are seeking an experienced Resident Engineer – Electrical to support the delivery of major hyperscale and mission‑critical projects in Paris.
Key Responsibilities
- Monitor electrical installation works against approved designs and specifications.
- Review site quality, workmanship, and compliance standards.
- Identify and resolve technical and coordination issues during construction.
- Work closely with contractors, consultants, and project teams.
- Participate in inspections, testing, commissioning, and project handovers.
- Support project reporting, site reviews, and stakeholder coordination.
- Ensure projects are delivered safely and in line with design intent.
Requirements
- Degree qualified in Electrical Engineering or a related discipline.
- Experience within Data Centres, Mission Critical facilities, Building Services, Industrial projects, or complex construction environments.
- Strong knowledge of electrical power distribution and building services infrastructure.
- Ability to interpret drawings, specifications, and technical documentation.
- Experience working directly with contractors, consultants, and site teams.
- Strong communication, coordination, and problem‑solving skills.
