* By Roberte OkoyaContext Overall Objective: Develop AI within the SOC Within our SOC, we are integrating Generative Artificial Intelligence technologies to automate threat analysis, contextualize security alerts, and assist our analysts. We are looking for an AI Expert specializing in the training, alignment, and evaluation of Language Models (LLM/SLM) to design sovereign, highly specialized cybersecurity models. Working directly with the Cyber R&D team and the SOC team, the consultant will be responsible for: MISSIONS Fine-tuning models: Adapting and specializing open-source LLMs (Llama, Mistral, Qwen, etc.) on cybersecurity data (logs, CTI reports, playbooks). Alignment and Hallucination Limitation: Implement reinforcement learning techniques to ensure models generate accurate, safe, and bias-free/hallucination-free responses (crucial for the SOC). Data Formatting and Structuring: Define and apply best-in-class prompt and conversation formats for training. Evaluation and Benchmarking: Implement rigorous evaluation pipelines to measure the performance of specialized "Cyber" models against market standards. REQUIRED PROFILE: AI TECHNICAL EXPERTISE (Hard Skills) The candidate must have a strong command of the following technologies and concepts: A. Model Fine-Tuning (PEFT) Advanced mastery of low-rank adaptation techniques: LoRA and QLoRA. Regular experience with at least one fast fine-tuning framework: Unsloth, Axolotl, or TRL (Transformer Reinforcement Learning by Hugging Face). B. Data Structuring & Formatting: Expertise in using chat template formats, particularly ChatML and Alpaca, to structure textual training datasets. C. Alignment & Reinforcement Learning (Hallucination Control): Strong experience in response optimization (constraint-based generation & alignment) using the following methods: DPO (Direct Preference Optimization), GRPO (Group Relative Policy Optimization), and PPO (Proximal Policy Optimization). Proficiency with alignment frameworks: TRL, Verl, or OpenRLHF. D. Evaluation & Validation (MMLU / Benchmarking): Ability to design rigorous evaluation protocols. Use of standard benchmarks (e.g., MMLU, GSM8K) and implementation of internal comparative evaluation frameworks (methodologies such as Evaluation Arena / LMSYS, LLM-as-a-judge). Technical Skills

MLOps Stack: Knowledge of platforms such as Hugging Face Hub, vLLM, Ollama, or Triton for deployment and optimized inference. Development: Excellent command of Python and PyTorch. SOFT SKILLS Scientific Rigor: Absolute rigor regarding data quality and benchmark reproducibility. Communication: Ability to simplify complex AI concepts for purely cybersecurity profiles (SOC Analysts, CISOs). Autonomy: Ability to deliver in an agile R&D environment.
