Mantle8 seeks a seismologist to build an in-house Full Waveform Inversion capability for passive seismic data and for seismic imaging in exploration. You will own the data-to-model workflow, develop forward and adjoint components, benchmark on synthetic models and apply to Mantle8 field datasets.
The role blends R&D with production tasks, requires a PhD and strong programming skills in Python and/or C/C++, with HPC experience and excellent communication in a multidisciplinary team.
