A+F Recruitment is partnering with an International Bank to recruit a Corporate Tax VP.
This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced tax professional to join an expanding international finance team and lead local tax compliance across French and cross-border operations.
The successful candidate will report to the Head of Finance with a functional link to the EMEA Head of Tax. The role will involve both operational tax compliance and strategic advisory work supporting wider business initiatives.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee French corporate tax, VAT, and transfer pricing compliance
- Coordinate with EMEA tax leadership and external advisors on filings and audits
- Review local tax returns for accuracy and compliance
- Provide advice on tax structuring and process efficiency
- Implement and maintain a Tax Compliance Management Framework
- Monitor French and EU tax law developments and assess implications for the business
Requirements
- 5–7 years’ experience in corporate tax, ideally from a Big 4 background or within banking
- Strong knowledge of French tax law and transfer pricing principles
- Fluent in French and English
- Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills
- Exposure to international tax and multi-jurisdictional structures
