The Product Marketing Team Structure at Shine

Our PMM team works across product domains and countries, and is divided into two complementary roles:

  • Core PMMs each own a product line (e.g. Core banking, Lending, etc.) across all markets. They own the what and the why: value proposition, key messages, pricing mechanism, launch strategy.

  • Market PMMs each own one country and the whole Shine suite for micro businesses in that market. They own the for whom, where and how: local target, messaging, pricing, channels and timing.

This role is the Core PMM for Lending product line, reporting to the Product Marketing Director. You'll be the product-side counterpart of the Lending squads, and work hand in hand with the Market PMMs, who bring local insight and execution while you bring the cross-market strategy and narrative.

Your role as a Senior Product Marketing Manager, Lending Product Line at Shine

We're looking for a Core PMM to own how Lending is positioned, launched and grown across every market where Shine operates (France, Germany, Netherlands, Denmark, Spain, Portugal).

You'll be the domain expert: you know the product, the category and what the best players ship, in Europe and beyond. You'll shape what we build from discovery, and turn complex mechanisms into simple benefits that every market can use.

Most PMM roles inherit an established product and market. This one asks you to build the playbook as the product line itself is still taking shape — defining how a regulated, trust-sensitive product like lending gets positioned and sold across four different markets with different regulatory regimes, competitors, and customer expectations, without diluting a single global narrative.

What you will own

  • Product & competitive intelligence: track what competitors and leading players abroad (incl. the US) ship in Lending, spot trends, and turn them into roadmap input and a sharp product battle card.

  • Customer insight tied to the roadmap: run customer interviews on Lending during discovery, feature build and improvement, aligned with the product and PMM roadmaps.

  • Roadmap influence: join discovery from day one with the PM. Bring segment priorities, market sizing and business cases, and secure visibility and resources for the product line.

  • Positioning & messaging: own the global value proposition, key messages and proof points of Lending, with a messaging house the Market PMMs can adapt locally.

  • Pricing mechanism: define the pricing mechanism with Product (included, add‑on, usage‑based, transaction fee…), within which Market PMMs set local price points.

  • Launches & go‑to‑market: set the launch tier, write the what & why of every GTM doc, and run new product launches end to end across markets, flagging legal and compliance risks early.

  • Global enablement: build the product deck, FAQ, demo narrative and global launch kit for Market PMMs, Sales and CS.

  • Adoption & growth: own adoption and usage of Lending after launch, run cross‑market upsell plays, and report on it every quarter.

Based in Paris, with possibility of remote working days several times a week.

What will bring

  • 4–8+ years in Product Marketing, ideally in fintech, SaaS or financial products for small businesses; 1–2 years of strategy consulting experience is a strong plus.

  • Able to make complex
