Join us as an Internal and External Testing Manager

Are you ready to shape the future of capital markets? We are looking for an Internal and External Testing Manager to join our CSD Convergence Programme at the Euronext Securities team in Porto.

The CSD Convergence Programme is a flagship initiative within Euronext’s Innovate for Growth 2027 strategic plan. Its aim is to strengthen Euronext’s pan-European market infrastructure by integrating and modernising Central Securities Depository (CSD) platforms into a single, harmonised system serving multiple markets. This transformation will enhance scalability, operational efficiency and client experience, positioning Euronext Securities as a leader in secure and resilient post-trade services across Europe. As Internal and External Testing Manager, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the successful acceptance and readiness of this unified platform for both internal operations and external clients.

You will primarily be responsible for:

Testing strategy and governance

  • Define and own the overall testing strategy, covering both internal User Acceptance Testing (UAT) and End User Acceptance (EUA)
  • Establish consistent governance frameworks, acceptance criteria, entry/exit gates and sign-off models across all CSDs, markets and releases
  • Implement automation and AI tools to secure quality and efficiency
  • Ensure alignment between acceptance activities, programme roadmap and strategic objectives
  • Provide consolidated visibility on acceptance readiness at programme level

Programme oversight and coordination

  • Oversee UAT and EUA planning across all workstreams, ensuring consistency, completeness and alignment
  • Ensure appropriate resourcing, organisation and governance structures across markets
  • Monitor progress, identify dependencies, bottlenecks and risks, and propose solutions when issues arise
  • Coordinate closely with project management, Business Operations, IT, QA and client-facing teams

End user acceptance and engagement

  • Define and oversee EUA approaches, including client onboarding, participation models and validation scope
  • Engage effectively with clients, participants and market stakeholders across all CSDs
  • Align EUA execution with client readiness, migration plans and communication strategies
  • Capture and prioritise client feedback for programme delivery

Executive stakeholder management and escalation

  • Act as the senior point of accountability for acceptance across the programme
  • Engage with senior stakeholders across business, operations and programme leadership
  • Lead escalation of critical acceptance risks and support go/no-go decision-making processes

Risk, issue and quality oversight

  • Maintain consolidated oversight of acceptance-related risks and issues across UAT and EUA
  • Ensure timely escalation and resolution of critical blockers impacting programme delivery or client readiness
  • Define and monitor KPIs and quality metrics for acceptance activities
  • Ensure compliance with internal governance, audit and regulatory expectations

Business and market readiness

  • Ensure alignment between acceptance outcomes and overall business and market readiness
  • Support transition from testing into migration, cutover and go-live phases
  • Ensure acceptance deliverables are complete, auditable and aligned with regulatory requirements

Your profile:

  • Extensive experience in senior testing, acceptance or programme leadership roles within financial services or market infrastructure
  • Proven track record of delivering complex projects under pressure with a solutions-focused approach
  • Deep knowledge of post-trade services, settlement agents or custodians
  • Experience managing client testing phases (EUA, industry testing or market-wide migrations)
  • Familiarity with IEEE testing standards; ISTQB or similar certifications highly preferred
  • Practical understanding of test automation and AI tools for UAT efficiency
  • Strong leadership, governance and stakeholder management skills, including client-facing interactions
  • Ability to manage complexity, ambiguity and competing priorities across multiple entities
  • University degree in finance, business, economics, IT, engineering or a related field
  • Fluency in English required; additional European languages are a plus
  • Willingness to travel up to 40% to global offices and client sites
