Linum Consult’s client, an international fit-out contractor, is seeking a bilingual French & English Project Manager with a background in industrial fit-out projects to join their team in Paris, France.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Assisting in the preparation of estimates and tenders following site visits, and reviewing tenders with the operations team as necessary
- Planning and programming works
- Managing and authorising the procurement and placement of subcontractor and supplier orders in accordance with the programme
- Adhering to the company’s Safety First Guiding Principles
- Ensuring production and commercial procedures are implemented across all projects
- Preparing the contract budget in conjunction with surveyors and monitoring the performance
- Implementing all safety, health, environmental, and quality procedures and ensuring statutory compliance across all projects
- Developing the contract programme, ensuring necessary resources are in place, and establish the sequence and timing of operations for the completion of work
- Attending and chairing meetings, and maintaining relationships with clients, project and design teams, and supply chain
PROFILE
- Excellent knowledge of construction methods and technologies
- Previous experience of fit-out/interior works in an industrial building environment is essential, such as pharmaceutical, data centres, clean rooms, etc.
- Advanced knowledge in commercial strategies and innovation to maximise profit delivery and cash management
- Good knowledge and understanding of subcontract/material orders and procurement
- Knowledge of health & safety, quality procedures, and construction industry best practices
- Excellent leadership, organisational, time-management, and communication skills
- Fluent in English and in French
- The right to live and work in the EU
