Our client is seeking a Test Engineer to work on a long term B2B/freelance contract based onsite 5 days per week in Strasbourg, France.
Experience
- Minimum 7 years of relevant experience for the nature of tasks.
Knowledge and skills
- Excellent knowledge of testing standards, methods.
- Hands on experience in creating efficient test approaches, test planning, test scenarios, test case creation and execution.
- Experience in API testing using Postman, Kreya or similar tools.
- Experience using DBs and SQL, containerized solutions and observability tools.
- Experience in writing and editing automated tests.
- Experience with system integration testing.
- Ability to understand business context, define priorities, communicate with technology focused teams and communicate the outcome of test campaigns.
- Defect Management including prioritization of defects and root cause analysis.
- Test and Defect Management tools.
- Experience in complex, enterprise system integration.
- Experience in agile software development and testing methodologies
- Experience and willingness of working in an international/multicultural
