IT Project Manager SAP

These Are Your Tasks

We are searching for an experienced IT Project Manager (minimum five years of experience on the same role). Below are the main skills we are looking for:

Strong SAP / S/4HANA Knowledge & Project Experience

• Strong SAP experience, ideally within an S/4HANA environment
• Solid understanding of end‑to‑end business processes and cross‑module dependencies
• Does not need to be a purely technical expert, but should have sufficient SAP expertise to challenge both consultants and business stakeholders effectively

SAP Business Process & Integration Understanding

• Strong understanding of how business processes are mapped and executed within SAP – best case with experiences of a company who sells solutions (Hardware and Software – different Business Processes needed)
• Ability to think across module boundaries rather than focusing on individual SAP modules
• Good understanding of integrations between SAP modules as well as integrations with non‑SAP systems
• Ability to identify dependencies and potential impacts across processes and systems

Project Management & Delivery

• Proven experience in leading complex projects, rollouts, or implementations (international, not harmonized processes, different departments and stakeholders)
• Strong capabilities in managing scope, resources, budgets, risks, and external consultants
• Ensures consistent follow‑up on deliverables, actions, and decisions
• Drives projects forward and ensures agreed timelines, responsibilities, and commitments are met
• Take decisions in the given frame, escalation in an adequate manner
• Change management experiences

Stakeholder Management & Communication

• Acts as a strong interface between Business, internal IT, and external SAP partners
• Able to challenge requirements and engage with both business stakeholders and consultants at eye level
• Capable of communicating complex SAP topics in a clear and understandable way to non‑SAP stakeholders
• Confident in facilitating discussions and driving decisions where different stakeholders or priorities are involved

Ownership & Proactive Problem Solving

• Takes end‑to‑end ownership of SAP‑related topics and drives them independently through to resolution
• Proactively identifies dependencies, risks, and potential issues at an early stage
• Does not wait for Business, consultants, or other IT colleagues to define the next steps
• Demonstrates a hands‑on and solution‑oriented mindset, actively coordinating the necessary stakeholders to move topics forward

Who We Are Looking For

• Master's degree / engineer IT degree
• Languages: English: Business fluent and German: Business fluent
• Soft skills :Understanding of how to operate SAP System
• General understanding of IT infrastructures
• Ability to work in an international team
• Well established analytical and conceptual skills
• Independent, goal-, cost- and process‑oriented way of working
• Strong communication and coordination skills as well as an engaging and representative manner
• Good presentation and moderation skills
• Willingness to travel
• Professional experience as a project Manager in SAP
