As Product Development Manager - women's wear woven at our Paris office, you will drive the development of women's wear products from concept to pre-production, translating creative vision into exceptional products. Collaborating closely with cross-functional teams and suppliers, you will balance quality, craftsmanship, cost and delivery to ensure the successful execution of each collection.

This is a 12-month fixed-term contract with a preferred start date as soon as possible.

WHAT YOU WILL DO

As Product Development Manager - women's wear woven, your main contribution will be to develop high end quality products for your designated category. You will report to Senior Product Development Manager and you will play a vital role by:

  • Manage the development process from concept to pre-production
  • Source and develop materials aligned with design and sustainability goals
  • Drive fit, quality, costing, and margin performance
  • Allocate styles to the most suitable supplier base
  • Maintain BOMs and product data in PLM
  • Manage the seasonal development budget
  • Build and maintain strong supplier relationships
  • Partner cross-functionally to deliver products on time and to target specifications

Specific experience and knowledge for this role:

  • Degree in Fashion, Textiles, or a related field
  • 5+ years' experience in product development, preferably within luxury or high-end fashion
  • Strong communication skills in English, written and spoken
  • Advanced Excel and Microsoft Office skills
  • Experience working with PLM systems is a plus
  • Strong costing, negotiation, and commercial awareness skills
