Evaluate the quality of AI-written advocacy using a proven federal civil-litigation record. Focus on how arguments, authority and facts combine to persuade a judge, beyond simply reaching a correct legal conclusion.
What you will do
- Draft simulated motions, briefs and litigation‑strategy responses.
- Critique AI advocacy for framing, use of authority, organisation and persuasive judgment.
- Develop objective scoring criteria and examples of stronger legal argument.
- Improve review guidelines with research and product colleagues.
Required background
- Substantial federal civil‑litigation experience covering motions, briefing and strategy.
- At least three successful federal civil motions, supported by court orders or docket evidence.
- Excellent legal writing, analytical judgment and ability to turn criticism into actionable feedback.
- Experience collaborating across disciplines.
Preferred background
- Legal‑technology, AI or training experience.
- Experience with dismissal, summary‑judgment and discovery motions.
Remote, part‑time engagement.
Pay and engagement
$158 $315/hr
All amounts are in USD. The rate, task scope and schedule are agreed before work begins.
