C++ Software Engineer | CAD Infrastructure

This position is primarily based on-site in Boulogne-Billancourt.

Candidates must therefore reside in the Paris region for the duration of the contract.

About the Role

We are looking for a C++ Software Engineers to work on our 3D CAD platform, covering both core infrastructure and CAD applications.

Depending on your interests and experience, you will contribute to:

• CAD infrastructure (data model, update mechanisms, performance, geometric operators)
• CAD applications such as Direct Edit, Solid/Shape modeling, Assembly, DMU …
• Specialized CAD applications such as Sheet Metal, Fastening, Welding, and more.

What You Will Do

• Develop C++ code for CAD infrastructure and applications
• Develop algorithms and data structures for optimized performance for large-scale assemblies' visualization and geometry checking
• Contribute to CAD core topics: data model, update graph, parameters, behaviors
• Interact with geometry kernels, constraint solvers, and visualization engines
• Improve performance, robustness, and scalability
• Collaborate with product, UX, and CAD expert teams
• Good understanding of 3D geometry and CAD concepts
• Ability to work on both infrastructure and application-level code
• Experience with large CAD platforms (CATIA, NX, Creo, SolidWorks, Onshape, etc.)
• Experience in Direct Modeling, parametric CAD, or DMU
• Interest in CAD architecture, performance, or AI for engineering
• Knowledge of specialized CAD domains such as Sheet Metal, Fastening, Welding, or similar applications
