Clinical application specialist/Clinical Science Liaison – FranceVarian (a Siemens Healthineers Company) is seeking to hire a Clinical Science Liaison (CSL)/clinical application specialist in the Medical Affairs Department of the Varian Interventional Oncology (VIO) business unit.
Due to increasing needs across France and the European Union (EU), we are seeking a highly experienced professional to provide case support primarily in France.
The role will require regular travel throughout the assigned territory and will be 100% field based.
Role

Responsibilities:
GeneralProvides case support primarily in the FranceIs knowledgeable of all products in the VIO portfolioWorking with the CSL team, the sales team and company logistics, ensure product/s and ancillary components are available for each caseWork closely with other CSLs to provide support for cases out of the managed territory if requiredSubmits case support documents in a timely mannerTrains and educates physicians and hospital staff on use of IO productsProvide on-site clinical support during procedures while maintaining a “hands off” posture in relation to direct patient contactInteracts with customers and functional organizations to determine their training needs and uses engineering documentation such as Operators Manuals and DFUs to develop content of coursesMay coordinate or lead customer and/or employee trainingMay also conduct large group presentations at seminars, training programs, and trade showsMay also provide demo support to local, regional and national customer trade eventsCollaborate with the IO Medical Affairs and Cross-Functional TeamsAssists Medical Education, Medical Information, and Medical Science Liaisons with assigned projectsProvides competitive product performance information to headquarters marketing or engineering groupsWorks collaboratively with the CSL, the broader Medical, and the Commercial teamsSkills & Experience Required:Bachelor’s Degree in related field preferred 5 – 10 years of experience in life science industry-based medical support rolesClinical Background – IR/CT Technician, Operating Room Nurse or Surgical Technician preferredExperience/Knowledge of IR suite, Operating Room Protocol and Sterile TechniqueKnowledge of national / regional regulations and industry standards regarding interactions with healthcare professionalsExperience in supporting tissue ablation procedures highly regardedAbility to work in a high-intensity, fast-paced environmentExcellent written and verbal communication skillsDetail oriented with excellent organizational skillsSelf-motivated, autonomous and accountableAbility to address, communicate and implement changes quickly and effectivelyBroad experience, uses professional concepts and company objectives to resolve complex issues in creative and effective wayFluency in French and English·Preferably located in Paris or around itPlease submit your CV in english.
