The International Bureau of Weights and Measures (BIPM) invites applications for the position of Director of the Physical Metrology Department. The role is based at the BIPM headquarters in Sèvres, near Paris, France.
As a senior international appointment, the Director provides scientific, technical and managerial leadership for the department, shapes strategy, leads staff development, and ensures delivery of the department's contribution to the BIPM work programme endorsed by Member States.
