Senior Battery Electrical Engineer | NewSpace Startup
Want to build battery technology that will fly into space?
We’re working with a fast-growing NewSpace startup developing next-generation power systems for commercial LEO satellites. You’ll join a small, highly technical team where you’ll have genuine ownership from cell selection → BMS → testing → flight-ready hardware.
What You’ll Do
- Design battery pack electronics and high-current PCBs
- Develop BMS hardware and functions: SoC/SoH, balancing & protection
- Lead cell, battery and BMS testing
- Select and qualify cells for the LEO environment
- Work hands-on across design, lab testing and validation
- MSc/equivalent in Electrical Engineering or Electronics
- 5+ years in battery systems or power electronics
- Strong Li-ion, BMS and high-current electronics experience
- Low-ego, curious and highly practical mindset
Space/aerospace/automotive experience is a plus, not essential.
