Duration:
6 months (January to June 2027)
This is a paid internship, with remuneration based on the candidate’s background and previous experience.
The Role
As an Off-Cycle M&A Intern, you will be fully integrated into the team and actively involved in all stages of the transaction process, from origination to execution, across both domestic and France/US cross-border mandates.
You will also contribute to the firm's business development efforts, taking part in sector mapping, target identification, and the preparation of commercial materials across our core coverage sectors: Consumer & Retail, Media, and Healthcare, in both France and the United States.
This internship offers a comprehensive and hands‑on experience, ideal for candidates seeking to develop solid technical foundations and real client exposure within a highly entrepreneurial environment.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Performing industry and company research, benchmarking, and competitive analysis
- Preparing financial models, including valuation (DCF, multiples, precedent transactions) and transaction scenarios
- Drafting pitch materials, teasers, and information memoranda (IMs)
- Supporting transaction execution (due diligence coordination, process management, data room review)
- Contributing to business development efforts through sector mapping and target identification
Required Qualifications, Capabilities, And Skills
We are looking for :
- A student from a top business or engineering school / university, ideally with a specialization in Corporate Finance or Financial Engineering
- Preferably with a first internship in investment banking, private equity, audit, or corporate finance
- Skilled in financial analysis, modeling, and presentation
- Proficient in Excel, PowerPoint, and Word
- Full professional fluency in French and English
- Rigorous, curious, proactive, and able to work both independently and in a team environment
