Background:

This position aims to improve the quality and reliability of computer systems. This role is mainly focused on the operation and optimization of J2EE application servers

Responsibilities:

Maintain the operational state of J2EE hosting platforms (Monitoring, Availability, Resilience – BCP & DRP)
Deploy and operate JEE application servers (JBOSS, Tomcat, FatJar) and web servers (Apache)
Integrate, test and validate operating procedures
Implement and enforce patch management policy and manage the deprecation of web and application servers
Perform FMV capacity sizing and planning
Provide support for hosted applications: performance analysis, fault diagnosis, and tuning
Assist in the implementation of the project and contribute to the definition of JEE standard technical components

Expected outputs:

Operational maintenance of J2EE platforms
Deploy and operate JBOSS, Tomcat, FatJar, Apache
Validated and documented operating procedures
Execution of patch and deprecation plans
Automated scripts and workflows
Resource sizing and FMV planning reports
Performance and tuning support documentation

Mandatory skills:

Extensive experience in production environments with JBOSS, Tomcat, FatJar
Red Hat Enterprise Linux
Patch management and obsolescence management
Validation of the operating procedure
Log monitoring and analysis (must be able to read and interpret logs)
Agile Scrum Methodology
Familiarity with the Apache ecosystem and application relaunch processes
