Essential skills:
- 4+ years of Backend Development experience.
- Programming skills in Rust OR C++.
- Interest to rapidly prototype and iterate on ideas.
- Exposure with distributed systems OR large-scale engineering.
- Passion for creative thinking and user-centric innovation.
Day to day:
- Designing and implementing high-performance backend services.
- Writing clean, maintainable and efficient code to power the platform.
- Building APIs that handle millions of requests while ensuring low latency and high reliability.
- Debugging complex issues and optimising critical parts of the system.
- Collaborating with frontend engineers and product teams to deliver new features.
- Iterating on backend components to improve scalability, stability and security.
- Contribute to meaningful projects that have real-world impact on millions of users.
