For my client in the automotive industry based in Auvergne-Rhône-Alpes, I'm looking for a Senior Embedded C++ SW Engineer to support a strategic automotive software initiative at our customer. The role combines hands‑on embedded C++ development with practical contribution to Automotive SPICE deployment and ISO 26262 software safety activities.
Key responsibilities:
- Transform algorithms and model‑based designs into robust, testable C++ software.
- Contribute to software requirements, architecture, implementation, integration and verification.
- Strengthen ASPICE practices, including SWE.1-SWE.6, traceability, reviews and engineering evidence.
- Support software‑level ISO 26262 activities and safety‑related work products.
- Work closely with our customer engineering teams onsite in Clermont‑Ferrand.
Profile:
- Senior automotive embedded software engineer with strong C++ skills.
- Practical experience with Automotive SPICE and ISO 26262.
- Experience with model‑based development, MATLAB/Simulink, MISRA, ALM tools, ADAS or SEooC is a plus.
- Professional English required; French strongly preferred.
Contract:
- Contract: Freelance
- Start date: ASAP
- Duration: 6 months + extension
- Conditions: On site (1 day remote per week)
- Rate: 400€ - 450€ (Depending on experience)
