* Data Governance Expert"Context of the need: As part of its mission to define data management policies and monitor their implementation, the Data Governance activity wishes to strengthen its team with an experienced professional in this field. Support and expert guidance in the execution of the various aspects of the missions are required."MISSIONS
• Defining data management policies (roles and responsibilities);
• Establishing/maintaining a business glossary and a data dictionary;
• Methods for monitoring data quality;
• Methods for ensuring data security and regulatory compliance;
• Integration with the capabilities of the company's chosen data platform;
• Implementing and monitoring these policies, in conjunction with the necessary contributors; familiarizing the various company groups with the requirements and benefits related to data governance;
• etc.
• Participating, where applicable, in the selection of data governance tools (supplier meetings initiated; discussions ongoing);
• Data cataloging/knowledge: Defining standards and best practices and verifying their proper application by engaging the required stakeholders (IT, business), ensuring the necessary familiarization;
• Data Mapping: Deepen the data mapping that has been initiated (with business stakeholders, IT professionals, and enterprise architects) and be able to present it, gain its adoption, and use it for data governance purposes.
• Regulatory Compliance: Ensure that all data complies with internal and external standards, particularly regarding GDPR and legal compliance.
• Role Management and Data Community Engagement: Identify governance stakeholders within a framework of shared responsibilities. Engage stakeholders (facilitating seminars, communication, etc.).
• Access Management: Define the level of access rights for identified roles and users.
• Supporting the skills development of other team members on key topics that must be mastered to successfully carry out the activities' missions.
Expected deliverables : "Thematic chapters of the Data Governance policy (roles and responsibilities; Glossary/Dictionary management; Data Lineage management; security and access rights, including legal compliance; Data quality monitoring; processes enabling the evolution of the Data platform)"PROFILE & SKILLS Data Governance Skills “Experience within a Data Office in charge of Data Governance “Use of Data Governance tools (metadata management, including Glossary/Dictionary, Cataloging, Data Product Creation/Exposure, Data Quality, Lineage)” Understanding of major Data Architecture models (Extraction/Loading, Transformation/Cleaning, Provisioning, Usage Tracking) Practical experience with a Data Platform solutionWork
