Required profile
ARGEA is a subsidiary of NGE, established in Belgium since 1973. Initially specialized in public works related to water, the company quickly diversified its activities into civil engineering, energy, telecommunications, and urban development. Today, ARGEA is a leading company in the field of networks and infrastructure, deploying its expertise and know-how both nationally and beyond borders, offering technical and innovative solutions. It also relies on the skills of its subsidiary, AQUAENERGIA, based in Flanders, which specializes in the installation of water pipelines and electrical cables.
Since 2018, NGE is leading the civil engineering consortium on the Nachtigal hydroelectric scheme project. This project aims to increase Cameroon’s electricity production by 30% using a green, sustainable and competitive energy.
More than 4,000 people worked on this project during peak activity.
In 2020, NGE established its rail subsidiary TSO in Canada, with the aim of actively contributing to sustainable mobility projects. This initiative represents a remarkable opportunity for the Group to expand its presence in the North American market.
NGE’s Canadian subsidiary brings together a team of experienced professionals with in-depth expertise in the transport and railway infrastructure sectors.
Thanks to their know-how and technical excellence, our teams are able to deliver turnkey infrastructure solutions, fully tailored to meet clients’ needs.
Currently, NGE Canada is leading two major railway projects, further strengthening its position in the market. The first involves the design, supply and installation of the overhead contact line for the future Ontario Line, an eight-year project spanning 15.6 km of track. The second is its participation in the RSSOM (Rolling Stock Systems Operation and Maintenance) package for the same metro line, which covers the design, construction, and maintenance of the trains and associated systems.
NGE subsidiary in Colombia, located in Bogota, opened in early 2023 and is specialised in project engineering. It is one NGE’s engineering department continental hubs, which supports the NGE Group activities and especially those in Latin America.
Our experts enable NGE to have a global vision of its projects, and to make strategic choices on the construction of infrastructure by arbitrating various issues (construction methods, operating procedures, choice of materials, etc..) with a particular focus on the environment.

It covers the design and construction of a 150 km section between Tallinn Ülemiste and the Pärnu freight terminal. This contract strengthens NGE’s presence in Europe and further confirms its expertise in large-scale railway projects at an international level.
