  • Strengthen the link between numerical thermo-hygro-chemomechanical (THCM) modeling and laboratory experiments;
  • In particular, develop the characterization of porous media by determining the connected porosity fraction, the segmented porosity fraction, permeability, apparent diffusivity, degree of saturation, etc.;
  • Conduct research aimed at understanding fluid transport, chemical reactivity, and the mechanics of porous media in various materials, particularly construction materials (cement-based materials, building envelope materials, rammed earth, etc.);
  • Contribute to the collective management of the Civil Engineering platform.

Technology Commercialization and Transfer Activities

  • Identify and establish research contracts with industrial and academic partners, as well as draft grant proposals for public agencies or international programs;
