About

Swan is Europe’s embedded banking specialist. We empower software companies to embed banking features like accounts, cards, and payments directly into their products, under their own brand. Swan processes over €2.5 billion in monthly transactions for more than 150 companies - like Pennylane, Indy, Agicap, Libeo, and Lucca.

Founded in 2019, the company has received growth capital from leading investors such as Lakestar, Accel, Creandum, Bpifrance and Eight Roads. Swan is a principal member of Mastercard and a licensed financial institution, regulated by the French banking authority (ACPR).

Our mission

Banking belongs in business software

Many software companies already serve small businesses incredibly well: helping them send invoices, run payroll, manage inventory, and more. They’re on a mission to become the central hub for managing every aspect of business life.

But when it comes to financial workflows, there’s still a gap. Too many critical tasks like managing cash flow, tracking payments, or reconciling accounts happen outside the software, across spreadsheets, email threads, banking portals.

It’s a missed opportunity. Business software shouldn’t just record financial activity — it should run it.

Job description

Your mission

We are looking for a Senior Account Executive (Enterprise) to help drive Swan’s growth in France.

Based in our Paris office, you will own the full sales cycle, from identifying and engaging strategic accounts to discovery, solution design, negotiation, closing and early expansion. You will build strong relationships with senior decision-makers and help companies understand how embedded banking can support their growth and product strategy.

This is a hands‑on, high‑ownership role. You will build your own pipeline, develop a clear territory strategy and create opportunities with large, complex organisations. You will work closely with Product, Compliance, Operations, Legal, Partnerships and other teams to shape relevant solutions and deliver a strong customer experience.

You will also contribute to building Swan’s presence in the French market by sharing customer insights, documenting market needs and helping us strengthen our product‑market fit.

Main tasks

Here is a snapshot of some of the responsibilities you will have:

  • Build your own pipeline: Generate and manage pipeline through targeted outbound, account-based prospecting, networking, events, and partnerships, from first contact to close.

  • Lead complex deals: Run the full sales cycle, from discovery and solution design to negotiation and close, including qualification, stakeholder mapping, and business cases.

  • Build senior customer relationships: Develop trusted relationships with C-level executives and key stakeholders, and orchestrate the right executive engagement from Swan.

  • Orchestrate internal teams: Work across Product, Engineering, Compliance, Legal, and Operations to move deals forward and solve customer needs.

  • Help shape our sales motion: Bring market feedback into our product and go-to-market approach, and improve how we sell to enterprise customers.

Preferred experience

You’re a great match if:

  • 10+ years of experience selling a technical or API product, preferably in fintech or payments

  • Proven ability to sell to large accounts: you know how to navigate complex organizations and manage long sales cycles

  • Excellent verbal, written and presentation skills

  • Building and managing your own pipeline, with an attention to CRM hygiene

  • Passionate about technology, and in particular fintech businesses

  • You are self-driven and independent

  • Ability to understand and articulate technical concepts and translate them into industry- or business‑relevant terms

  • Strong interpersonal skills, an excellent team player, and fun to work with

  • Fluent in both English and French

  • Our ideal teammate: Empathetic. Skilled. Frank. We love to challenge each other, and we leave our egos at the door

It’s okay if you don’t tick all the boxes - don’t let imposter syndrome prevent you from applying
