Responsibilities
- Define technical specifications in accordance with the needs of the design engineering office
- Qualify manufacturer-part combinations for aeronautical parts and associated surface treatments
- Contribute to the development of qualification methods and processes
- Oversee the technical progress of qualifications for various parts suppliers
- Support our clients in developing their supply chain, particularly during the onboarding of new suppliers or the transfer of activities
- Analyze material characterization results and have command of their forming and joining/assembly processes
- Prepare technical documentation pre- and post-qualification
- Organize and facilitate exchanges between the client’s materials teams, suppliers, and external laboratories
Requirements
- University or engineering degree (Master’s to PhD level, Bac +5 to Bac +8) with a specialization in materials and processes
- At least 6 months’ experience in a design office/engineering department within the aerospace or space sector
- Autonomous, rigorous, with excellent analytical and synthesis skills
- Strong written communication skills and a collaborative team player
- Proficient in spoken and written English
- Proficiency in basic materials characterization techniques
