About the Company
Established in 2017, Infinite Orbits is a NewSpace company, based in Toulouse, pushing the boundaries of in-orbit services with cutting-edge spacecraft driven by its own Rendez-Vous solution, an advanced Autonomous Vision-Based Navigation Solution. IO has two generations of missions"Orbit Guard" provides Inspection and Space Situational Awareness services in GEO. Our first, OG-1 was launched on 1 May 2023, the second is launching in 2025 and the third third launching in 2026."Endurance" is a docking service capable of extending the life of GEO telecom satellites, by taking over AOCS takeover for 5 years.
The Commodity Buyer is a member of the project team and will manage the procurement activities.He/she will be responsible for POs, sourcing, negotiation, contract management and supplier management.He/she will support the project execution in a very dynamic environment.
Job Description
- 1. Sourcing & Contract ManagementLead RFI/RFP/RFQ for team sourcing decision.Negotiate, draft and manage supplier contracts to secure target costs, project's milestones, payment terms and warranties.
- 2. Project ExecutionManage suppliers throughout the project lifecycle.Track suppliers to secure cost, timing and quality.Approve supplier deliverables with Delivery Managers and Supplier Quality team.Lead supplier escalations and coordinate recovery actions.
- 3. Supplier ManagementLead supplier portfolio management (entry/exit/market screening).Monitor supplier performance.Support the Quality team during supplier audits and on-site visits.
- 4. Quality, Risk & Continuous ImprovementContribute to continuous improvement of supplier performance, procurement processes and tools.Monitor and report procurement KPIs covering cost, delivery and planning.
