Responsibilities
- Push the boundaries of numerical simulation in R&D: HPC & performance
- Optimize computations on HPC clusters (Linux environments)
- Improve scalability and performance (CPU/GPU, parallelization)
- Collaborate with infrastructure and development teams to increase HPC capabilities
- Create and enhance finite element simulations (Abaqus, Ansys, Comsol…)
- Adapt models to complex multiphysics problems
- Strengthen validation and robustness of numerical models
- Develop tools and scripts (Python, Bash) to industrialize workflows
- Optimize simulation workflows
- Support R&D teams in the use of HPC
- Promote best practices (documentation, training)
- Encourage adoption of large-scale simulations
Requirements
- Significant experience in finite element simulation
- Hands-on experience with HPC environments
- Strong fundamentals in mechanics and scientific computing
- Proficiency in Python
- Fluency in French (C1) and English (B2)
- Parallelization (MPI, OpenMP, CUDA) - Highly valued
- Performance optimization - Highly valued
- Scientific software development - Highly valued
- Experience in industrial R&D - Highly valued
