* By Roberte OkoyaContext: As part of software qualification activities, the mission aims to define, implement, and maintain a test automation approach. The service is delivered using an Agile methodology, in collaboration with the qualification teams and project stakeholders. The automation environment is based primarily on the Ranorex tool.
Mission: The consultant's role is to design the automation strategy, develop and maintain automated tests, prepare the data necessary for their execution, and make the automated systems available to the testing teams. They ensure the relevance of the automated scenarios, the reliability of the scripts, and the successful adoption of the solution by users.
Main Activities
• Analyze qualification needs and assess the relevance of test case automation.
• Define the automation strategy and work plan.
• Design, develop, execute, and maintain automated tests.
• Define, create, and maintain the data sets used as input for the automated tests.
• Configure Ranorex and document the implemented configuration.
• Make the automated tests available to the qualification teams and support their adoption.
• Participate in Agile rituals, share progress, report risks, and contribute to continuous improvement.
• Ensure the traceability, reusability, and maintainability of automated tests.
Required Skills
• Proficiency in test automation methods, principles, and best practices.
• Experience in designing, developing, and maintaining automated test scripts.
• Proficiency or strong knowledge of Ranorex and its configuration.
• Ability to define relevant test suites and data sets.
• Knowledge of qualification processes and the software testing lifecycle.
• Good understanding of Agile methodologies and the ability to work within a multidisciplinary team.
• Analytical, diagnostic, documentation, and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent writing skills, strong communication skills, and the ability to transfer knowledge.
Expected deliverables:
• Strategy and planning of automated tests.
• Ranorex configuration and associated documentation.
• Data sets required for test execution.
• User manual for automated tests.
• Operational automated tests, maintained and made available to the qualification teams.
Required Profile: Intermediate to senior level Automation Consultant with significant experience in software test automation. The ideal candidate is autonomous, rigorous, and organized, while also being able to collaborate closely with the testing teams. They can propose appropriate solutions, document their work, and support users in the operation of automated systems.
