Talent Acquisition Specialist (Headhunter)

The role is about finding and winning over hard-to-reach people for engineering, operations and business jobs at a fast-growing company that builds and flies its own airships. A strong candidate has real experience in headhunting or in-house recruiting, is skilled with LinkedIn Recruiter, and can run several searches at once. They also work well with hiring managers to turn a vague need into a clear candidate profile, and they can speak with technical people in both English and French.

How it fits the AI era

AI tools can speed up the routine parts of recruiting, such as finding profiles, drafting first messages and tracking pipeline numbers. What stays human is judging motivation, earning the trust of rare technical people and explaining why this mission is worth joining. A good recruiter here uses tools to save time, then spends that time on real conversations and honest candidate care.

How it builds AI experience

The company turns airship sensor data into automatic defect and leak detection, so the recruiter will hear about AI work up close and learn what machine learning and data profiles look like in practice. Hiring for those roles builds a useful sense of the AI talent market. Trying AI sourcing and outreach tools on real searches, and tracking which ones improve reply rates, is a good way to build hands-on experience.
