Context: Overall Objective: Data Security & DSPM Expert Our client is seeking a Data Protection Expert (engineering degree or equivalent) for their Data Security department to support their mission of securing sensitive data. Integrated within a team of experts, the main objective will be to ensure the deployment, optimization, and operational maintenance (MCO) of the Varonis DSPM (Data Security Posture Management) solution, in order to actively contribute to the protection of the Group's information assets.
RESPONSIBILITIES As part of their role, the expert will be responsible for the following activities: Deployment and Integration: – Lead the deployment of the DSPM Varonis solution across the Group. – Ensure the integration of new Group entities and the connection of new data sources. Engineering and Continuous Improvement: – Define, configure, and optimize security and detection rules within the solution. – Conduct security analyses on new services and functionalities of the DSPM solution.
Monitoring and KPIs: – Maintain and develop monitoring dashboards displaying key performance indicators (KPIs) and risk indicators (KRIs). Operational Maintenance and Support: – Ensure the operational and security maintenance of the platform. – Provide level 2 and 3 support (monitoring, diagnosing, and remediating security incidents).
Governance and monitoring: – Draft and update guides, procedures and associated security standards. – Ensure active technological monitoring on data protection and DSPM topics.

Technical and Methodological

Skills:
– DSPM Expertise: Proficiency with the Varonis solution (or, failing that, an equivalent DSPM solution on the market). – Data Security & Architecture: Strong skills in data security, security architecture, and a good understanding of Information System (IS) infrastructures. – Cloud Environments & Tools: In-depth functional and technical knowledge of Microsoft Azure, M365, Microsoft Purview, and the Splunk SIEM tool. – Development & Scripting: Practical skills in scripting and development (PowerShell, Python) and proficiency with N8N automation/reporting tools. – Business Expertise & Soft

Skills:
Strong general knowledge of Information Systems Security (ISS) / Cybersecurity, with a keen awareness of data leak risks. Analytical and synthesis skills, rigorous writing skills for standards documentation. Ability to work in a team within a complex multi-entity environment.
