About the Role

Our client, a prominent force in the Videojuegos y Esports sector, is actively seeking a specialized Tester de Videojuegos de Seguridad to join their dedicated, fully remote team supporting operations in Mexico . This critical role focuses on identifying vulnerabilities, exploits, and potential security risks within game clients, servers, and associated online services. You will employ various testing methodologies to ensure the integrity of player accounts, in-game economies, and overall system security. Key Responsibilities

• Perform security assessments of game clients, servers, and online services to identify vulnerabilities.
• Test for common security exploits, including buffer overflows, injection attacks, and unauthorized access.
• Evaluate the security of player authentication, account management, and data protection mechanisms.
• Assess the integrity of in-game economies and prevent exploits related to virtual currency or items.
• Research and stay updated on emerging security threats and vulnerabilities in the gaming industry.
• Collaborate with security engineers and development teams to report findings and recommend remediation steps.
• Document security testing procedures, findings, and resolutions in detail.
• Contribute to the development and refinement of security testing strategies.
• Ensure compliance with relevant data protection regulations.

Requirements

• Proven experience in security testing, penetration testing, or a related cybersecurity role.
• Strong understanding of cybersecurity principles, common vulnerabilities, and attack vectors.
• Experience with security testing tools and methodologies.
• Ability to analyze complex systems and identify potential security weaknesses.
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Proficiency in documenting technical findings clearly and precisely.
• Experience within the video game industry is highly desirable.
• Ability to work independently and manage tasks effectively in a fully remote environment.
• Strong communication skills in Spanish.
• Relevant cybersecurity certifications (e.g., CEH, OSCP) are a plus.
