Group Senior Data Manager

In a context of international growth and information systems harmonization, the Group aims to establish a Single Source of Truth, ensuring consistency, reliability, and information sharing across all sites and business functions.

As part of the structuring and enhancement of data governance across the Group, we are seeking a Senior Data Manager capable of managing data quality, reliability, and strategic utilization across several international entities.

The position requires close collaboration with business functions (Finance, Logistics, Purchasing, Production, HR, and Sales) as well as excellent mastery of data flows and master data management within a SAP Business One ERP environment.

Key Responsibilities

Group Master Data Repository Development

• Define and implement the Group's data convergence roadmap.
• Design a common master data repository for key master data (Customers, Suppliers, Pricing, Bills of Materials, etc.).
• Harmonize business rules across subsidiaries.
• Ensure centralized governance while monitoring actions carried out by local entities.
• Prepare the implementation of a Group data model enabling reliable consolidation of commercial and operational information.
• Lead data migration and standardization projects required to build the common data repository.

Data Governance

• Develop and deploy the Group Data Governance strategy.
• Define data standards, procedures, and quality rules.
• Establish data quality KPIs and monitoring dashboards.

Data Administration & Quality

• Identify and correct data anomalies.
• Lead database reliability and cleansing initiatives.
• Ensure uniqueness and integrity of Group data with the support of local Data Managers.

SAP Business One ERP

• Act as the key reference for SAP Business One data management.

Participate in projects involving:

• Database mergers.
• Data migrations.
• Process harmonization.
• Ensure data consistency across all subsidiaries.
• Collaborate with business teams to define analytical requirements.
• Structure and prepare data for reporting tools.
• Support the development of BI solutions (Power BI or equivalent).

International Project Management

• Coordinate Data projects involving multiple countries.
• Lead Data correspondents and/or Data Key Users across sites.
• Train and raise awareness among Data Key Users on best practices.
• Support change management initiatives.

Candidate Profile

Education

• Engineering degree (Computer Science, Data Management, Industrial Engineering, Supply Chain, or equivalent).
• Minimum Bachelor's degree (Bachelor's +5 years).

Experience

• Minimum 8 to 10 years of experience in data management.
• Mandatory experience within an industrial SME or mid-sized company.
• A career spent exclusively in a very large corporation is not the target profile.
• Strong hands‑on operational experience, close to business users and operations.

Technical Skills

Mandatory

• Expert knowledge of SAP Business One (SAP B1).
• Master Data Management (MDM).
• SQL.
• Advanced Excel.
• Power BI or equivalent software.
