DESCRIPTION DU POSTE

To support itsdevelopment and strengthen its in-house legal team, Aether Financial Servicesis looking for a Legal Counsel (2 to 5 years of experience) on a permanentcontract (CDI).

You will alsowork closely with the operational teams and handle any legal issues arisingduring the set-up and throughout the execution of financial transactions.

In thiscapacity, your main responsibilities will be as follows:

• Handle the day-to-day legal management of Aether Financial Services’ activities, liaising with internal (operational teams, management) and external (banks, law firms, investors, clients) contacts,
• Review, analyse, draft and negotiate the agreements and documents relating to the various transactions in which Aether Financial Services acts as agent (financing and security documents),
• Manage and monitor the processes relating to general meetings of holders of financial instruments,
• Take part in all discussions on legal and regulatory matters related to Aether Financial Services’ activities; you will carry out legal and regulatory monitoring on these matters and keep your direct line manager informed of this monitoring and of the issues you have identified,
• Handle Aether Financial Services’ corporate matters (corporate secretarial work, etc.);
• Take part in and contribute to more cross-functional or related projects.

YOUR PROFILE

• Master’s degree (Bac+5) with a background in banking and/or financial law,
• At least 2 years of experience in specialised law firms (LBO, infrastructure or structured financing, capital markets), banks (agency), advisory firms (corporate finance, debt advisory) or investors (debt funds),
• Proficiency in Word, Excel and PowerPoint,
• Very strong writing skills in French,
• Excellent command of English; professional experience in English would be a plus,
• Knowledge of another language would also be a plus.
