About the company
At Nuitée, we are building the API backbone for the global travel industry. Founded in 2017, Nuitée is on a mission to transform a fragmented travel ecosystem with simple, scalable, and API-first infrastructure—think “Stripe for Travel.”
By enabling seamless connectivity between hotels, OTAs, fintechs, super-apps, and businesses, some of which are entering the travel market for the first time, Nuitée empowers companies to deliver reliable travel products effortlessly. Our robust platform simplifies complex supplier networks, offering direct access to hotel inventory with better pricing, coverage, and technology.
With teams across the globe, including hubs in London, New York, San Francisco, Palma de Mallorca and Casablanca, Nuitée has grown into a global infrastructure provider trusted by industry leaders like Hopper, Priceline, Google, and Uber.
Now backed by leading VCs and world‑class investors including leaders from Booking.com, Stripe, and Shopify, Nuitée is positioned to redefine the B2B travel market, streamline operations for hotels, and enable new applications through cutting‑edge APIs.
Nuitée is at the forefront of a revolution—delivering AI‑powered, smarter, and more personalized travel experiences for a new era.
About the role
Remote in EU, or hybrid in Barcelona, Palma, Dublin, or Casablanca.
Unique problems to solve: a good fix in the morning can be live in production by the evening, and it will be serving real partner traffic.
Nuitée is hiring Senior Product Engineers to join Connect, the domain at the heart of our platform. Connect is where hotel supply from hundreds of suppliers becomes one clean API that partners build on: how we connect to suppliers, price and serve inventory at scale, and make fragmented travel data usable in real time.
You’ll work across the full lifecycle, building new capabilities and scaling the systems partners rely on every day. You’ll go from idea to production without detailed specs, and you’ll be accountable for whether what you ship creates real value.
The problem is hard: latency, correctness, cost and supplier limits all pull in different directions, and the product decisions can’t be separated from the technical ones.
What makes it interesting for you:
- You can move extremely fast. There’s very little red tape and teams make their own product decisions. A good idea in the morning can be in production by the evening, and many iterations ship in days rather than months.
- You own the path to the outcome. You’ll agree what success looks like, then decide with your team how to get there, including when to say no.
- You get genuinely hard engineering problems. Caching, multi‑supplier pricing, data pipelines, and routing under strict latency budgets all interact in real time.
- You’ll shape how we build. We got to roughly €1B in booking value with a lean team. Now we’re building the next phase of the platform as we push toward €10B, and you’ll help set the engineering and product standards
Nuitée has grown 10x since 2022, was profitable before raising a $48M Series A led by Accel, and works with companies such as Revolut, Grab, Hopper, Priceline, and Sabre.
The kind of problems you’ll work on:
- How do we take fragmented, inconsistent data from hundreds of suppliers and serve it reliably through a clean API?
- How do we cache and deliver a pricing matrix covering 100k+ hotels so partners can use it in real time?
- How do we answer multi‑supplier rate requests within strict latency budgets, route to the best suppliers, and protect supplier QPS and system stability under load?
- How do we harmonize data across suppliers (room mapping, for example), including with LLM‑assisted approaches?
You’ll work on problems where the product, technical approach, and best path forward are still being figured out.
The role is backend‑heavy and product‑driven. You should be comfortable going from idea to design, implementation, and real usage, without needing detailed specs.
A good way to think of it is: you build the first version that proves something works.
This role fits someone who:
- Is a senior and hands‑on backend engineer, ideally with experience in Go (but we’re also interested in people from C#, Java, C++ or similar backgrounds who want to pick up Go)
- Has built products or major features from scratch
- Thinks in terms of outcomes and user value, not just implementation
- Is comfortable working without clear specs or structure
- Can make pragmatic tradeoffs and move fast
- Has experience with APIs, data‑heavy systems, or distributed environments
- Takes ownership beyond their scope and pushes things forward
Nuitée is fast‑moving, low on process, and high
