About GitGuardian
GitGuardian is a global cybersecurity scale-up. The company is based in Paris, New-York City, Boston.
Among our early investors who saw our market value proposition, are the co-founder of GitHub, Scott Chacon, along with Solomon Hykes, Docker's co-founder. American and European top-tier VC firms have also invested in GitGuardian who raised its series C early 2026.
GitGuardian leads the way in securing the credential layer, helping organizations protect the secrets that let code, machines, and AI agents access systems with broad detection, identity context, and remediation at scale. Already trusted by 600K+ developers worldwide and by 50 of the fortune 500
About your team and your mission
As a Senior Product Manager, Platform, you will join the Product team working on the Core platform, the layer that every GitGuardian product runs on: authentication and access (SSO, SAML, SCIM, RBAC), audit logs, billing, notifications and the self-hosted deployment experience. Your scope splits roughly 70% Core platform and 30% Self-Hosted, and you will own it end to end, from discovery to adoption.
This role sits at the crossroads of platform and revenue: the decisions you make on access, security and self-hosted adoption directly shape whether GitGuardian's largest customers can use the product at all, and whether they can run it smoothly in their own environment.
Your day-to-day will split roughly 40% strategic work (roadmap, trade-offs, stakeholder alignment), 30% research (customer discovery, data analysis, technical investigation) and 30% execution (specs, prioritization, shipping). You will work closely with Engineering, Platform/SRE, Sales and CSM teams, and you will be expected to hold your own in technical conversations rather than relying on an intermediary.
Your main responsibilities will be to:
Own the Core platform roadmap (SSO/SAML/SCIM, RBAC, notifications, audit logs, billing, AWS & GCP Marketplace, GGBridge, etc…) and the Self-Hosted roadmap (deployment, upgrades, version support, parity with SaaS).
Lead discovery directly with enterprise stakeholders (DevOps, Security, AppSec, Platform/SRE) to turn field feedback, Sales and CSM escalations into clear product decisions rather than one-off fixes.
Unblock and accelerate revenue by resolving the platform gaps (RBAC, SSO/SCIM, notifier parity) currently constraining specific named enterprise accounts.
Drive self-hosted version adoption and upgrade success, reducing friction for customers running GitGuardian in air-gapped or highly controlled environments.
Define and track the metrics that matter for platform health and adoption, using data to validate or challenge your own assumptions.
Prioritize explicitly between enterprise commitments, run/support load, and platform technical debt, protecting the platform's long-term health rather than just reacting to the loudest request.
Partner with Engineering and Platform/SRE on architecture-level decisions, bringing a genuine technical point of view to the table.
You will have real autonomy and lateral visibility across the company: this is a role with a direct line to revenue, at a scale most product managers don't get to work at this early in a scale-up, including Fortune 500 customers. GitGuardian's product practice is also AI-native: you're expected to use agentic tools across your own workflow, not just talk about AI as a feature.
About you
Here’s what we consider essential for success in this role:
5+ years of Product Management experience
Significant experience in B2B SaaS Product Management on genuinely complex, technical products, ideally including deployment, installation or adoption topics.
Proven experience working with enterprise customers: complex environments, security requirements, multiple stakeholders and long sales cycles. You're comfortable leading discovery directly with DevOps, Security, AppSec or Platform/SRE stakeholders.
Real technical depth: you can read an API contract, logs or a technical configuration unaided, and hold a credible conversation with Engineering, Platform or SRE teams without an intermediary. This is not a generalist PM role.
2+ years of experience as a Software Engineer, or in a DevOps, Infrastructure or Self-Hosted product environment; direct Self-Hosted experience is a strong plus.
Strong stakeholder management skills: you know how to align Product, Engineering, Sales and customer-facing teams, adapt your communication by audience, and drive decisions when interests diverge.
Ability to prioritize explicitly between enterprise commitments, operational/run load and platform technical debt, rather than just reacting to the most visible reque
