Position Summary:

As hospital representative, you promote Ultragenyx products to Healthcare Professionals and promote appropriate use in accordance with the Information Charter through canvassing or prospecting aimed at promoting the drug. All activities and skills are implemented in compliance with pharmaceutical regulations and legal and regulatory obligations, company strategy and internal operating rules and procedures and professional ethics. You comply with the Information Charter by canvassing or prospecting aimed at promoting the drug and the Certification framework.
Your scope includes activities on promotional product information, area action plans, environmental and competitive intelligence, providing field feedback, pharmacovigilance and regulatory compliance and general administrative activities. In this role, you report to the national field force manager.
Work Model:
Field: Officially documented as working as a member of the Ultragenyx field team, generally interacting with third parties on behalf of Ultragenyx.
Responsibilities:
Promotional activities
- Presentation of products or a portfolio of products to all health professionals constituting his/her target
- Inform Hospital Health Professionals (doctors, pharmacists, nurses, etc.) and nursing teams about drugs in the pathology targeted and on the therapeutic strategy recommended to contribute to the proper use of the products for which he/she is responsible in strict compliance with the Marketing Authorization, the “promotional information charter”;
- Use only of the authorized visit support documents approved in France (positive list in force).
- Active listening to health professionals in order to deliver an appropriate and personalized response in accordance with the MA
- Organize Professional Relations (PR) with opinion leaders and all Health Professionals, as well as staff within hospital services, in strict compliance with the anti-gifts law ( DMOS ) and the rules applicable in the company.
- Compliance with the communication strategy validated by marketing / medical and regulatory
- Participation and representation of the company to health professionals on regional and national congresses validated by his/her management
- Bringing together the different actors in order to optimize patient care in their care path
- Professional relations with opinion leaders, investigators (non-interventional phase IV), hospital pharmacy.
- Carry out, if necessary, the follow-up of non-interventional phase IV studies, namely observational, epidemiological studies, without intervening in the pre-recruitment or the recruitment of investigating physicians in the context of phase IV studies, nor in the financial relations with investigating physicians.
- Carry out a competitive intelligence and feedback information to his/her hierarchy
- Implement the sectoral action plans defined with his hierarchy on the basis of national and regional objectives (targeting / priorities, frequencies, content of visits, respect of communication, optimization of communication, optimization of budgets, etc.) and in coordination with the other “field” functions of the company (targeting coverage).
