Main Duties and

Responsibilities:
Maintain and enhance existing tools, ensuring they meet the evolving needs of the targeted communitiesTroubleshoot and resolve issues related to the engineering dataTroubleshoot and resolve issues related to performance, reliability and usability of the software componentsImplement robust, scalable and efficient software componentsWrite clean, efficient and well-documented code, in line with the standard Software Development practicesParticipate in testing and quality assurance activities to ensure software reliability and compliance to Nuclear Safety requirementsTechnical expertise and

experience:
Experience with numeric computation and scientific computing tools to solve design, analysis or optimization problemsExperience in developing and maintaining Windows desktop applications (in Fortran, C, C++, C#, Java, Python, etc)Experience in developing and maintaining client-server applicationsFamiliar with Linux shell scriptingFamiliar with relational database and SQLA general understanding of engineering disciplines such as (but not limited to) Thermodynamic, Aerodynamic, Heat Transfer, Fluid Mechanics, CAD (2D/3D)Familiar with standard modern software development tools and practices, such as source code management, unit testing and continuous integrationUnderstanding of Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC) and Agile Methodologies, Continuous Integration (CI), refactoring and testing techniquesBehavioural and Leadership competencies:Take ownership of small tasks and deliver without supervision while using their discretion to seek help when necessarySeek to understand problems thoroughly before implementing solutions. Ask questions to clarify requirements and needsVoice opinions and presents clear rationale. Use data or factual evidence to influenceWilling to work with global international teamsEducation Qualification:Mechanical Engineering with a strong interest in Computer Science or “STEM” Majors (Science, Technology, Engineering and Math) and experience in Engineering Software developmentA minimum of 2 years of professional experience in software engineering, with a focus on developing engineering tools or similar applicationsIn India, our presence spans Sanand (Gujarat), Noida (Uttar Pradesh), and Bengaluru (Karnataka), where our teams drive advanced manufacturing, precision engineering, and cutting-edge project delivery-underpinn by our commitment to safety, integrity, and sustainability.
