Senior Investment Banking Expert — Model Review

Apply senior deal-execution experience to the review of transaction models, company research and strategic analysis.

What you will do

• Research companies and industries and assess buyer or target screening.
• Build, update and troubleshoot Excel valuation and transaction models.
• Review comparable-company analysis, pitch materials and transaction rationale.
• Trace the effect of accounting treatments, valuation adjustments and deal sensitivities through an analysis.
• Identify numerical errors, weak strategic arguments and unclear reasoning, then provide actionable feedback.

Preferred background

• Former senior associate, ideally third-year, or vice president in M&A or industry coverage at a leading bank, established boutique or sector adviser.
• Hands-on acquisition or sale-process experience and a record of producing and reviewing senior-quality deliverables.
• Advanced Excel modeling, scenario analysis, company research, target screening and pitchbook experience.
• Clear written and verbal explanations of complex financial issues.

Pay and engagement

• $184-$315/hour
• Amounts are in USD.
• Your hourly rate and scope are agreed before work begins.
