CERBAIR develops and deploys anti-drone technology solutions designed for demanding environments: armed forces, law enforcement agencies, critical infrastructure, and major industrial clients.

As part of our business expansion, we are looking for a Presales Engineer.

As part of the Customer Success Department, you will serve as a technical point of contact alongside the sales teams during the pre‑sales phases. You will help assess customer needs, prepare and conduct demonstrations, perform site surveys, and define appropriate technical architectures.

The position combines technical expertise, hands‑on experience, customer relations, and the ability to translate operational constraints into concrete solutions.

You will work in a demanding technological environment, in direct contact with institutional and private clients, both in France and internationally.

Mission

Your main responsibilities will be as follows:

  • Prepare and lead technical demonstrations of our anti-drone systems in France and internationally.
  • Oversee the temporary deployment of equipment, testing, and proof‑of‑concept demonstrations for prospects and customers.
  • Present the technical and operational capabilities of CERBAIR’s solutions to discerning clients.
  • Conduct site surveys to identify topographical, radio frequency, technical, and logistical constraints.
  • Help define the optimal technical architecture: sensor placement, radio coverage, installation height, and overall feasibility.
  • Work closely with the sales, Customer Success, and technical teams to ensure the success of the pre‑sales phases.
  • Collect and organize feedback from prospects and customers to help drive the continuous improvement of solutions, demonstration procedures, and technical documentation.
  • Work at secure, sensitive, or military sites, with frequent travel within France and internationally.

Profile

You have a college degree in Networks & Telecommunications, Electronics, Weapons Systems, Optronics, or an equivalent technical program.

Ideally, you have 3 to 5 years of experience in a demanding technical environment: defense, security, telecommunications, or the technology industry.

You have a solid foundation in several of the following areas:

  • networks and telecommunications;
  • embedded systems;
  • signal processing;
  • ideally, C-UAS systems / anti‑drone systems.

You are comfortable speaking in public and know how to adapt your message to technical, operational, or institutional audiences.

You demonstrate attention to detail, independence, strong analytical skills, and a high level of confidentiality.

Fluency in technical English, both written and spoken, is essential given the international nature of the position.

You enjoy working in the field, traveling, and situations that require a combination of technical expertise, teaching skills, and customer service.
