Job Brief
We are seeking a talented and passionate Chef to join our team. In this role, you will create and prepare high-quality, plant-based dishes that align with our commitment to sustainability and culture. You will work closely with the team to design innovative menus, manage kitchen operations and ensure a memorable dining experience.
As Chef you will report directly to the Head of Operations and collaborate to maintain high standards and bring our culinary vision to life.
Responsibilities
- Plan menu considering budget and seasonal ingredients.
- Prepare for service, ensuring kitchen stocked, clean, cut, marinate as needed.
- Create prep lists for kitchen crew.
- Enforce safety and sanitation standards.
- Develop new recipes to keep menu fresh and maintain high standards.
- Stay updated on industry trends.
- Receive feedback and implement improvements.
Skills and Qualifications
- Culinary school degree/diploma or at least three years relevant experience equivalent.
- Knowledge of culinary techniques and practices.
- Awareness of culinary trends.
- Expert multitasking ability.
- Ability to manage inventory and place orders.
- Strong work ethic in high-pressure environment.
- Portfolio of creative dishes.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
