The role

Reporting to the VP of Strategy, you will help turn Spendesk’s most important strategic priorities into concrete results.

You will lead high-stakes, cross-functional initiatives, working closely with senior leadership and teams across Product, Operations, Go-to-Market, Finance and other functions. You will bring structure to complex and ambiguous topics, align stakeholders, solve problems and drive execution.

This is a hands-on role focused on impact rather than bureaucracy. This is a rare opportunity to work directly with senior leadership on the initiatives that matter most to Spendesk’s growth. From day one, you will have visibility across the business, lead high-impact cross-functional projects and help shape how the company operates and scales.

Responsibilities

  • Steer the execution of strategic initiatives that are high stakes for Spendesk’s growth
  • Structure clear project governance, objectives and workstreams
  • Collaborate with senior leadership to align on strategic direction and foster complex problem solving
  • Drive planning and coordinate cross-functional teams, drive weekly / monthly rhythm, finding the right balance between letting people in charge do their job and jumping in when it is needed
  • Take part in the analysis and execution with key stakeholders
  • Track and report on progress to leadership, ensure decisions are made at the right level

Example of projects: revamp pricing & packaging, augment our operations with AI, augment our product with AI, steer e-invoicing deployment in France

Contribute to define and execute Spendesk’s strategy

  • Contribute to shaping Spendesk’s long-term "full-potential plan" to maximize financial value, leveraging and synthesizing Operational, Strategic and Financial perspectives
  • Deep dive on selected strategic options (e.g. geographical or product expansion)
  • Steer yearly strategic and budget planning
  • Participate in the Corp Dev agenda (buyer / seller side): M&A opportunities analysis and execution

Support Spendesk’s company cadence

  • Contribute to steering the OKR (Objectives and Key Results) process
  • Coordinate the preparation of the Board meetings
  • Contribute to preparation of materials for key internal events (townhalls, leadership meetings)

Required skills

  • 3+ years of experience in a top-tier consulting firm, technology company or fast‑growing organisation
  • Proven track record managing complex, cross‑functional projects
  • Strong analytical, structured thinking and problem‑solving skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication, with the ability to present complex topics clearly
  • Strong stakeholder management skills and the ability to work autonomously
  • Hands‑on, curious and comfortable working with ambiguity
  • Fluent English

Preferred skills

  • Experience in both consulting and a technology or SaaS environment
  • Experience in Financial Services or FinTech
  • Good understanding of how a technology product works
  • Fluency in French
  • Graduate of a top business or engineering school
