Voodoo creates mobile games and apps. Its VGP platform automates high-volume growth tasks, including distributing creatives across ad networks and campaigns, performance monitoring, and playable ad production.
Задачи:
- Lead the technical direction and architecture for the squad’s domain
- Drive design reviews, set coding standards, and ensure engineering excellence
- Own delivery of complex, cross-team technical initiatives
- Build, scale, and operate Node.js/TypeScript backend services on AWS/EKS
- Define the infrastructure and reliability strategy for the team’s systems
- Partner with Product and Data to translate business goals into technical roadmaps
- Grow engineers through 1:1s, code reviews, mentorship, and technical coaching
- Identify systemic risks and drive improvements before they become incidents
- Promote an engineering culture of psychological safety, pragmatism, and craft
Требования:
- 7+ Years of professional software engineering experience
- 2+ Years of experience leading an engineering team, formally or informally
- Expert-level proficiency in TypeScript/Node.js
- Good knowledge of industry best practices, including SOLID, KISS, YAGNI, DDD, and TDD
- Proven ability to own and deliver large technical projects with cross-team dependencies
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
- Track record of growing engineers and building high-performing teams
- Ability to balance delivery speed with long-term technical health
- Будет плюсом: advanced PostgreSQL, VueJS or frontend architecture, AWS infrastructure, infrastructure-as-code at scale, observability and SRE practices, experience in a hyper-growth or gaming/consumer product company, platform engineering or developer experience
