About the job: Oli’s Lab is seeking its Head of Operations on a permanent employment basis
Reporting line: CEO of Oli’s Lab
The Head of Operation will have the following duties:·
Logistic Chain: implement and develop logistic chain of Oli’s Lab·
Inventory Management: Oversee inventory levels, procurement, and replenishment processes to ensure adequate stock levels to meet customer demand while minimizing carrying costs and stockouts.·
Warehouse Management: Supervise warehouse operations with Oli’s Lab third party Logistic provider based in Europe. This will include reception, picking, packing, and shipping of orders. Implement efficient workflows, optimize layout and storage systems, and ensure accurate inventory tracking.·
Order Fulfillment: Develop and implement order fulfillment strategies to ensure orders are processed accurately and delivered to customers on time. Monitor order processing metrics and identify areas for improvement.·
Logistics and Shipping: identify shipping carriers and coordinate with them to optimize shipping routes, negotiate rates, and ensure timely delivery of orders. Manage shipping documentation, track shipments, and resolve any shipping-related issues.·
Quality Control: Implement quality control measures to ensure product quality and customer satisfaction. Implement and ensure regular inspections of incoming inventory and outgoing orders to identify any quality issues or defects.·
Supplier Management and Procurement: Manage relationships with suppliers and vendors, negotiate contracts and terms, and monitor performance to ensure timely delivery of goods and services at competitive prices.·
Process Improvement: Identify opportunities for process improvement and efficiency gains across all aspects of ecommerce operations. Implement best practices, automation tools, and technology solutions to streamline operations and reduce costs.·
Data Analysis and Reporting: contribute to the implementation of all related datas in Oli’s lab information system. Analyze operational data and metrics to track performance, identify trends, and make data-driven decisions. Generate regular reports and dashboards to communicate key performance indicators (KPIs) to CEO, Marketing and Commercial team.·
Compliance and Risk Management: Ensure (and assist partners to ensure) compliance with regulatory requirements, safety standards, and industry best practices. Identify and mitigate operational risks related to inventory management, logistics, and supply chain disruptions.
The perfect candidate must demonstrate a strong entrepreneur spirit and be solution driven.
A previous experience of 5 to 7 years in implementing, supervising and developing operation in e-commerce is highly recommended to apply.
Fluency in both French and English is a must.
Remote work possible - preference will be given to candidates able to frequently visit 3 party logistic warehouse.
