As a Category Manager, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the success of our product portfolio. You will be responsible for the full management of a product category, from ideation to go-to-market, working closely with cross-functional teams to drive innovation and achieve business objectives.
Key Responsibilities:
Innovation:
- Generate new product ideas, including components, technologies, and market segments.
- Validate ideas through feasibility studies, market analysis, and cost assessments.
- Develop compelling product marketing materials and presentations.
Business Intelligence:
- Conduct market research and competitive analysis.
- Monitor market trends and identify new business opportunities.
- Create and maintain a store check database.
Business Performance:
- Analyze sales data and profitability.
- Develop and implement corrective action plans to achieve targets.
- Manage product specifications, pricing, and budgets.
Product Portfolio Management:
- Oversee the existing product portfolio.
- Ensure alignment of category strategy with overall business objectives.

Candidate Profile:
- Proven experience as a Category Manager in the consumer goods industry, ideally within the hygiene or personal care sector.
- Team management experience
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and guide cross-functional teams.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Outstanding written and verbal communication skills.
- Solid understanding of the retail landscape and consumer trends.
- Private label knowledge
- Fluency in French and English is essential.
