I am assisting one of France's leading telecommunication providers in their search for a highly skilled and experienced Network Pre-Sales Engineer. This role involves qualifying customers' network needs and proposing the most suitable techno-economic solutions.
With over 30 years of market excellence, my client is a well-known brand worldwide, offering immense opportunities for professional growth.
Glocomms has a long-standing relationship with this client and has successfully placed numerous contractors with them.
Responsibilities:
As part of a team of experienced pre-sales engineers, you will:
- Qualify customers' network needs and propose appropriate techno-economic solutions.
- Develop technical, functional, and economic specifications.
- Provide solutions that meet clients' economic requirements and constraints.
- Share manufacturer BOMs (e.g., CCW for Cisco).
- Craft the technical offer, highlighting its strengths.
- Ensure the technical offer integrates well with other documents in the response file.
- Proactively seek differentiating elements.
- Contribute to strategic decisions on assigned files (e.g., choice of manufacturer, response strategy, variants).
- Collaborate with project managers in developing and framing service offers by actively participating in bid construction meetings.
- Present and justify your solutions to internal stakeholders and customers.
- Adhere to response schedule deadlines.
Skills and Experience:
Education in Telecoms from a reputable school or university.
Minimum of 5 years' experience as a Network Engineer working on network equipment.
Over 3 years' experience in a Network Pre-Sales environment.
Expertise in Cisco, Aruba, Fortinet network/WiFi/SD-WAN equipment.
Relevant qualifications.
