With a successful live title already on the market, strong financial backing, and a compact, highly skilled team, the studio is entering a new phase of scale and technical ambition.Their culture is built on high standards, trust, autonomy, and respect, with a strong belief that sustainable performance comes from collaboration, diversity, and kindness.As Chief Technology Officer, you will be part of the leadership team and own the studio’s global technical vision. Your mission is to design and execute a long-term technology strategy that supports the growth of the current game and the development of future titles.This is a hands-on strategic role at the intersection of engineering, product, and business, with a clear mandate to scale systems, teams, and processes over the next few years.Key ResponsibilitiesDefine and drive a multi-year technical strategy aligned with product goals and studio growth.Anticipate and address scaling challenges across engine, backend, frontend, infrastructure, pipelines, security, and internal tools.Lead technical innovation initiatives and related funding programs (e.g. R&D / tax credit schemes).Oversee architecture decisions, tools, and workflows to improve efficiency, reliability, and developer productivity.Ensure strong technical quality, risk management, and performance across live and future games.Manage and collaborate with external technology partners and vendors.Lead, mentor, and structure engineering teams (backend, frontend, tools), promoting best practices, documentation, and knowledge sharing.Build, within a defined timeframe, a senior engineering organization capable of supporting multiple live games.Profile We’re Looking ForWe are looking for a seasoned technology leader with deep roots in game development and proven experience scaling teams and systems.Requirements15+ years of experience in video game development, and ideally experience with F2P and live mobile gamesStrong background as a Lead Engineer or equivalentAt least 2 years in a CTO or Head of Technology roleProven ability to align technical decisions with long-term product and business objectivesFrench professional proficiency is a mustCore SkillsStrategic thinker with a clear long-term visionStrong expertise in architectures, systems, tools, and performance optimizationAbility to translate complex technical topics for non-technical stakeholdersComfortable making trade-offs and managing technical riskNatural leader who mentors, empowers, and grows engineersCurious mindset and continuous drive for improvement and innovationOpen, collaborative, and pragmatic leadership styleWhy This Role?Key leadership position with real ownership and impactHigh level of autonomy and influence on technical directionStudio combining ambition with a people-first cultureOpportunity to scale technology and teams at a pivotal growth stage
