Synology France operates sales, marketing and technical support within the South EMEA, Benelux and Africa.


We are currently looking for a Senior IT Support Engineer to join our dynamic and customer-centric Support team that plays a pivotal role by providing the best-in-class customer support and assistance to our clients and partners, assuring the high level of customer care for Synology products and solutions.


The ideal candidate will be demonstrating the extensive technical expertise with Synology products, constantly following the trends and training on the IT/software market, working on fixing customer issues, providing solutions and guidance and proactively supporting customers, mainly by ticketing system. Email / phone support might be required for important cases.


This role will report to the Support Manager and will be based in our Paris la Défense office. This is permanent full-time position.


Responsibilities:

  • Analysing customer issues
  • Providing assistance to users
  • Fixing incidents
  • Finding intermediary solutions when needed
  • Providing guidance to customers with system configuration
  • Updating incident database
  • Replicating dysfunctions in the lab
  • Participating in customer events as technical expert


Qualifications and skills:

  • Degree in IT or related field
  • At least 2-3 years of relevant experience
  • Proficiency different OS (Windows, MacOS and Linux)
  • Knowledge of SMB, AFP, FTP, Rsync transfer; logs analysis; knowledge of Python, SQL will be a plus
  • Experience with Network Attached Storage will be a plus
  • Strong analytical skills
  • Problem-solver, team-player, good communicator
  • Fluent in English. Italian, or Spanish, or Dutch would be a plus


Compensation range depending on the profile from 40K to 55K annual base, plus variable based on performance.
