LOOKING FOR THE NEXT STEP IN IT TECH SUPPORT ROLE?


We are looking for an IT TECH SUPPORT WITH ONE YEAR EXPERIENCE to work in person at our client's facility in Rennes (France).


⚙ WHAT ARE THE MAIN TASKS OF THIS POSITION?


First-level technical assistance for users in the industrial production sector, on equipment, infrastructure, IT systems and services.

Monitoring the production environment for immediate attention and resolution, or incident escalation and monitoring, which ensures platform functionality and effective/efficient management and tracking of any issues that arise.

Ability to prioritize and manage work queues in critical situations.

Ability to work in a coordinated manner within a team and communicate with remote teams.

EXPERIENCE


Valuable experience in support work in critical Linux Redhat/Suse, Unix, Windows server environments and basic networking management knowledge:


  • Operation and operation of servers, systems and services. Process controls, starts and restarts.
  • Monitoring tools for monitoring the performance, capacities and availability of servers and services.
  • First-level analysis and diagnosis of platform alerts and incidents.
  • Direct relationships with users and expert groups as the first level of HelpDesk for incidents and escalations.
  • Support for planning corrective, preventive and evolutionary maintenance activities on servers and systems
  • Documentation of procedures in operating manuals


Support for IT manufacturing devices and services:


  • Servers and application services.
  • Printers and printing services.
  • Monitors and workstations for industrial installations.
  • Barcode scanners and readers.
  • CPL and data capture stations.
  • CAD stations.
  • Management of material stocks.
  • Average level of oral/written communication skills in English.
