The Opportunity

We are seeking an experienced Maximo Platform Implementation Project Manager to lead the successful delivery of enterprise asset management and IBM Maximo transformation programmes across Europe.

This is an excellent opportunity for a seasoned Project Manager to take ownership of complex software implementation initiatives, working with international stakeholders, business leaders and technical delivery teams. The role is predominantly remote, with occasional travel required to customer sites across Europe.

Key Responsibilities

Lead end-to-end IBM Maximo and Maximo Application Suite (MAS) implementation projects.

Manage project scope, timelines, budgets, resources, risks and dependencies.

Develop and maintain project plans to ensure successful delivery against agreed objectives.

Act as the primary liaison between clients, senior stakeholders and delivery teams.

Coordinate activities across business, functional and technical workstreams.

Establish and maintain strong project governance, reporting and steering committee structures.

Ensure successful management of project risks, issues, assumptions and dependencies.

Oversee solution design, integrations, data migration, testing and deployment activities.

Manage third-party suppliers, implementation partners and external stakeholders.

Drive effective communication across geographically distributed teams.

Support business readiness, user adoption and organisational change activities.

Ensure project documentation, reporting and governance standards are maintained throughout the lifecycle.

Provide regular status updates and executive-level reporting to stakeholders.

Essential Experience

Proven experience delivering enterprise software implementation programmes as a Project Manager or Programme Manager.

Strong hands-on experience leading IBM Maximo implementation projects, ideally including Maximo Application Suite (MAS).

Experience managing full project lifecycles from discovery and planning through to deployment and post-go-live support.

Background delivering large-scale transformation initiatives within asset-intensive industries such as:

Utilities

Energy

Manufacturing

Transportation

Infrastructure

Facilities Management

Strong understanding of project governance and delivery methodologies.

Experience managing project budgets, resources, schedules and stakeholder engagement.

Ability to successfully coordinate multinational and geographically dispersed teams.

Excellent client-facing communication and leadership skills.

Fluent Dutch and French language skills, alongside strong English communication capabilities.

Desirable Experience

Experience managing Maximo integrations, interfaces and data migration activities.

Knowledge of Maximo Application Suite modules, including Asset Management, Work Management, Scheduler, and Health, Safety & Environment.

Professional project management certification such as:

PRINCE2

PMP

Agile

Scrum

Experience leading large-scale digital transformation programmes.

Previous consulting, systems integration or professional services experience.

Exposure to projects spanning multiple European countries and regulatory environments.
