As a Project Quality Engineer, you will be responsible for ensuring quality assurance throughout the lifecycle of Westinghouse projects, from the bid phase through project completion.
You will ensure the effective deployment of Westinghouse quality processes and compliance with contractual, regulatory, and technical requirements.
Working closely with project teams, suppliers, customers, and regulatory stakeholders, you will act as the primary quality representative for assigned projects.

Key Responsibilities
Project Quality AssuranceDevelop, implement, and maintain Project Quality Plans.
Ensure contractual, regulatory, technical, and customer requirements are properly identified and implemented.
Participate in project reviews, design reviews, and quality milestones.
Verify compliance with internal procedures, quality standards, and project requirements throughout the project lifecycle.
Act as the quality focal point for assigned projects.
Project Team SupportProvide day-to-day quality support to project and operational teams.
Participate in project progress meetings and governance reviews.
Advise project stakeholders on the interpretation and application of quality requirements.
Support project teams in identifying and resolving quality-related issues.
Supplier & Subcontractor Quality OversightEnsure quality requirements are appropriately flowed down into purchase orders, contracts, and supplier documentation.
Prepare and implement supplier and subcontractor surveillance programs.
Monitor supplier compliance with applicable quality requirements.
Support supplier assessments, surveillance activities, and issue resolution.
Non-Conformance Management & Continuous ImprovementLead or support root cause analysis activities.
Define, track, and verify corrective and preventive actions.
Ensure effective closure of non-conformances and quality issues.
Contribute to lessons learned programs and continuous improvement initiatives.
Promote best practices across projects and teams.
Audits & InspectionsPrepare and support customer, supplier, and internal audits.
Participate in assessments, inspections, and reviews conducted by notified bodies and nuclear regulatory authorities.
Monitor and coordinate the completion of audit findings and inspection actions.
Ensure readiness for external reviews and compliance evaluations.
Quality Management SystemContribute to the continuous improvement of the Quality Management System (QMS).
Develop, monitor, and analyze quality KPIs and performance indicators.
Support the deployment of a strong quality and nuclear safety culture across the organization.
Promote adherence to established quality processes and standards.
AccountabilitiesYou will be responsible for:Ensuring project compliance with contractual, regulatory, and quality requirements.
Supporting successful project delivery through proactive quality assurance.
Driving resolution of quality issues and implementation of effective corrective actions.
Supporting supplier quality performance and compliance.
Contributing to continuous improvement and quality excellence across the business.
